Leading manufacturer in a the Life Sciences industry is seeking a Business Process Analyst to support their growing Customer Service group. The Business Process Analyst will be responsible for analyzing and documenting current Customer Service business processes and developing and implementing improved business models. The Business Process Analyst will facilitate the creation and tracking of performance indicators for all areas of the Customer Service group.

Responsibilities of the Business Process Analyst include:
  • Documents existing business processes using business models, workflow diagrams, and written explanations
  • Develops process improvement suggestions that align with business initiatives
  • Assesses impact of proposed changes to related business processes and develops cost/benefit analyses
  • Consults with business partners to identify "best practice" process models
  • Develops performance indicators to measure the results of the process change
  • Ensures that current practices meet or exceed business and customer needs
  • Promotes a culture of continuous improvement
Requirements for the the Business Process Analyst:
  • Bachelor's degree required, MBA preferred
  • 3 years of experience in roles of increasing responsibility developing and implementing business processes, conducting business analyses
  • Proficiency in the use of data management software (spreadsheets and databases), project planning, presentation, software and internet tools
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills for customer challenges, project work and systems/process improvements
  • Certification in Lean, Six Sigma or Continuous Improvement preferred
  • Strong customer focus
  • Experience monitoring Key Performance Indicators to benchmark, track, and continuously improve overall departmental performance
